I was up on the SETI website yesterday and read a discussion about the "speed" of Gravity. Typically, of course, one would say that Gravity travels at the speed of light. The discussion was: If the Sun ceased-to-exist, how long would it take for the Earth to "know" that and go spining into space. Typical answer, about 8 minutes because the Sun is 8-light-minutes away.
