I enjoyed watching the talk very much, and recommend it as a view into the the Writing of Joe's novel, 2050 Gods of Little Earth. For me, the best speculative fiction is that which begins with a perceived truth and then evolves into interesting, insightful speculation. This is where science and literature meet to put ideas about the world into emotional context.

You can check out my Google gig on YouTube. Search "Zornado" and it should pop up. Be warned: it's almost an hour "lecture" on some of the work that ultimately ends up in 2050, and at one point I discuss my novel.
