Visitors to SFR might be surprised to know we've had almost 200,000 visitors to the site. Many of them have come by the Forum. Even though just about nobody posts, we get more than twelve registrations per day. Almost all of them go unactivated. Many of them are malicious spam with strange names, that's why we've turned on the email feature. That feature requires that you confirm a set of letters (you have one try), then you are required to click a link sent in an email, otherwise you can't post. Sorry, but the spam is really that bad.

Usually most who register go unactivated--which means that most are spam by robots. However, those that seem authentic are activated. If you register and want to post, but didn't receive an email, send me an email at editor@speculativefictionreview.com

Also, if you read the stories and posts on the forum and enjoy them--say something--I'd like to hear what you think.
