We thought we'd put a page on the site for classic SF that's hard to find. We've started by featuring several books by Greg Egan. We especially recommend Quarantine.

We've also included a couple of rare books by Frank Herbert, the author of Dune. Lastly, we recommend a couple of classics: The Legacy of Herorot--a tremendous alien novel that is little known, and A Canticle For Leibowitz, a fantastic novel about the world after the downfall of civilization, except this one is not another book version of Mad Max--what an idea--an intelligent post apocalyptic novel!

For more excellent Science Fiction reading suggestions go to Hard Science Fiction categories 2,3, and 4. You won't be disappointed. Click on bookcovers for description and reviews.

For fans of Crime, Mystery and Suspense, we have categories in the store for you under Mystery and Suspense Books.

We have several recommendations of General Classic Literature, then them out, you won't be disappointed.

Under the General Book category, you can just put the name of your favorite author into the Search Form and a complete list of their books will appear, including offerings for used copies. You can also search by Title.

By purchasing your books at SFR, you are helping support new Authors.

You can find these great books at:

If you have some classic favorites, let us know and we'll add them to the store so others can enjoy them.
