I liked it alot

Science is well thought out, small philosophy section near the end matches my own—we don't work together as "human beings", then we don't continue as a species, and I loved the ending (something I don't always get reading Sci-fi).

There will always be champagne

I loved the ethics commentary, the story, battles, techno-speculation, cosmological fantasies, resolution, woman super-heroines (which I prefer to super-anyOtherSex), and the 28.3495 grams of matter of the heart..

Solid science, thoughtful, well written

Deep Time is a fantastic first contact sci-fi adventure. Loaded with action and solid science, it presents a highly plausible dystopian future where corporations have become as powerful as governments, and tensions between the two are high. All seen through the eyes of an unlikely hero who stumbles onto a conspiracy to hide a world changing discovery. Well worth a read!

Taut, page-turning science fiction thriller

This taut, page-turning science fiction thriller, is a fun read and impossible to put down. It has the author's characteristically accurate science along with his mind-bending weave of philosophical musings on the human condition. I loved it.

Great story, solid science

Mining for ores in the methane ice on Saturn's moon? Anti-matter torpedoes in space? Bio-implants for network connectivity? Interesting futuristic forecasts that only a writer with a solid background in physics like Peter Dingus can put forth in a way that makes them seem actually feasible. Good wriing and plenty of twists to keep the reader engaged. Bravo Mr. Dingus!

Deep Time

In "Deep Time" by Peter Dingus, the author weaves a captivating scientific thriller that promises an engaging plot and maintains a brisk pace throughout. The narrative succeeds in keeping readers on the edge of their seats, with high stakes enhancing the overall intensity.

Despite the allure of the storyline, the novel falters in its exploration of character relationships, leaving them somewhat shallow and frustrating for the reader. However, the book's ability to compel late-night page-turning sessions showcases its undeniable grip. I would love to see a sequel, inviting readers to delve deeper into the universe Dingus has crafted, providing a chance to more thoroughly explore the outcomes of the thrilling narrative.

Deep Time

Enjoyed this! Lots of action. Good SciFi. Sits in the "chosen one" subcategory. I preferred the on-the-ground stuff to the involvement of heads of state and space combat, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment.

A Great Read

A fast paced book that intelligently explores a first encounter with alien life. The characters are well drawn and compelling, not just action figures. The idea of how a greater intelligence would communicate with humans was well thought out. This novel has the science and a plot that holds your interest. I highly recommend this novel.

Worth Your Time

A critical and hopeful adventure worthy of your time. As a species we are at a major crossroads which you can see right now if you are intelligent.

Orwell said that in the future fascists will call themselves anti-fascists.

Then they will become the company after you have been fooled for long enough and you will have no choice but to work for them. Read on with no spoilers.
